Hey everyone ,
it took a little time to right back to you guys cause things are getting agitated, in every aspect.
After coming back from Australia we had the Indy car series Banquet and let me tell you…..it was a lot of Fun! Imagine party in Vegas…. what happened there stay there……hehehe….nothing happen everyone cmon!!! :)
Anyway after that i comeback home and got a little cold…despite loosing my voice nothing to worry about….and now just wait to see what is the next test of any kind of racing, this is the time of the year that i really don’t like it, i miss the races like crazy and there is not much you can do! trust me!
Well now talking about my case…..the only thing Im allow to say is, we are working to get this issue resolve in a positive note and like i said im confident that we win win this matter….continue everyone the positive thinking, it really helps !
Now shifting the subject who do you think is going to the finals on Dancing with the stars? I never though I would say that but I kind of miss the show, also the friends, the dancing……hummm……maybe not that much dancing…but for sure the friends!
Hey what about Nascar, they will be here in Homestead this weekend, i’m going to try check it out and see what happens in this last race of the season, this battle between Johnson and Edward it will be amazing!

My husband Craig and I had the privilege of witnessing both your 500 wins (and we live here in Indy). The way you have been treated in this case leaves me speechless. It appears as though I’ve been banned from posting on the helio and Julianne forum on ABC’s dwts website. They didn’t tell me so, but I am unable to post anything and several of my latest posts have been deleted. I had previously voluntarily left the Penske board with their kind peace. I suppose my comments and/or opinions about what has happened to you in your legal case is offensive to others. I just try to understand realistically why this terrible thing would be happening to you. So before I get canned from your board, Helio, I would just like to say that my heart has always had you in mind with much love and appreciation for all the good things that you have given me. Just wanted you to know that I, along with so many of your other fans, are praying for you through all this mess. I have been thinking of you daily, hoping you are doing well. I’m sure you may not remember me, but I had the great pleasure and honor of meeting you a few different times at the Indy 500 this year. Remember the blond in the wheelchair that gave you the cross-stitch (it said “Go for the checkered Helio”)for your birthday? I also brought you and your crew cookies one day during quals. You are such a sweetheart and really made my day talking to me and taking pictures with me. Thank you! I can’t wait to see you again next May (I know you will be there!). Stay strong and have faith that it will all turn out positively ok?
Ahhh, Helio, our Julianne got eliminated from the show this week. I so wanted to see her & Cody in the finals with Brooke and Derek and Lacey & Lance. Trouble is, I wanted all of them to win. I don’t know how you competitors deal with losing every once in a while. It must be that positive outlook, like the kind you always display. It is what it is, now what’s next. You couldn’t imagine how many times I’ve quoted your saying, “It is what it is.” It’s like a magic phrase that lets me put my own challenges in better perspective. BTW, didn’t Julianne perform her Hallelujah Song beautifully tonight? I think that girl is finally becoming woman. She was always a woman in your company. You seemed to bring out the best of her. But when you weren’t around her anymore it was like listening to a screeching animal every time she opened her mouth. Anyway, she looked beautiful in that black dress tonight as well, didn’t she? I probably shouldn’t post this comment because it goes against my better judgment. But I feel like ignoring my conscience every once in a while and this is one of those times.

This was part of what happened on Friday I believe…my limited understanding is that the prosecution asked he step down because of his involvement in things related to the case itself and he may be asked to testify. I’ve been keeping a lookout for further details, such as news from Penske, but so far haven’t seen anything.

Helio, Just wanted you to know that you are on my mind pretty much 24-7. You are the only reason my husband and I started watching Indycar and have grown to love it. There are so many things that we are all wondering. I know you are not allowed to talk about your case. My husband read that your Lawyer withdrew from your case. If that is has happened there is know way you will be ready by March. You will have to find a new lawyer and they will have to study the case. Hopefully that will help you in getting it delayed. We have been waiting for some news about you driving next year for Penske. We all are upset about the Judges denial for a later day for your trail. It really unfair they won’t let you change the trail date. We are all saying our prayers for you and your family. If you are not racing next year I don’t thing I will be watching IRL racing. You know you are the reason I watch racing. I use to watch IRL years ago but I stopped watching it. You get the credit for bring me back .
Another subject: I have been trying for several days now to get Penske Inside Lane Helio and it won’t let you in on any of the Inside Lane. Is their any way you can let us know what the problem is? You have a lot of fans on Penske Inside Lane.
Helio–you mentioned following NASCAR this weekend. I’m afraid I don’t enjoy that form of racing, but, in addition to Indy Car and ALMS, I am a huge F1 fan! Did you watch the final race of this season the other week? I was cheering for Felipe Massa and right when Vettel passed Hamilton a few laps from the end it looked like he would indeed win the title. Then, just at the last corners when I saw Glock fall back I yelled, “Noooooooo!!!!,” so loud I’m surprised you didn’t hear it in Miami!! Every year the Brazilian GP is full of surprises! My other favorite F1 drivers are Fernando Alonso and Rubens Barrichello. I cannot help but notice how well Brazil is represented in both Indy Car and F1! Do you have a theory as to why your country produces such great racers?
I’m waiting (patiently) to find out if there will be any type of announcement today…
Helio, we are all pulling for you and realize how frustrated you must feel at the moment. Even though the judge denied your request, I’m hoping that there are some other legal requests that can be made to get the necessary change. How can any judge deem it fair that you must put your career in jeopardy in order to prove your innocence? It doesn’t make sense–what does it matter to him whether the trial takes place four months from now or in twelve months? As you say, we will all be positive that everything will get worked out in time. I hope that the upcoming holidays find you surrounded by lots of friends and family and activities. My sister is out in LA and can’t breathe. Says the fires are really bad. NASCAR…wow! How do those guys drive so close behind without rear-ending each other???….amazing and scary! Seems like there’s too many cars on the track. Looks like the Houston freeway. Could you drive in that series? It looks much wilder than Indycar. Thanks bunches for your messages.

Helio, Please tell us that your lawyers are appealing this decision. I don’t know if I could stand to see anyone else in that #3 car, and to think that drivers are calling Roger Penske appalls me. I just want to know that you are fighting with all your might to be able to race. I’m sure you are. It’s really hard to think about how heavy your heart feels right now. My heart hurts for you too. I am so depressed right now. Would it really hurt them to hold off a few months? WE love you Helio and are praying our hardest that this all works out for you. Again we are all behind you 100%. I also saw an article that mentions Penske making an announcement Monday…if it’s true I do hope it’s a good one. I think having you in a car during this process makes you even more of a threat to other teams and drivers because you actually seem to thrive during adversity. You and Ryan make a great team, you and Tim make a great team, and you’ve been a driver as good as they come for Team Penske. I truly hope there’s some sense of family there and some sense of obligation to do right by you. They would not be able to find another driver who can do what you can.
No matter what, you have a large fan base and we all want to see you drive. We love you and will be here no matter what life brings!
But I’m going to snap if I don’t get to meet you this year at Milwaukee, Indianapolis, or Chicagoland!!! I had too much going on to make it happen last year and was only at Indy and Milwaukee for a short time. 2009 I’m planning ahead a bit better:)

I think Derek and Brook will compete against Julianne and Cody in the finals on DWTS. But I have to admit, Helio, that there hasn’t been a DWTS season to mesmerize me since you and Julianne danced together.
Dear Helio, I am sorry that your request has been denied by the court. My heart sank when I read about it. I’m going to pray for you and your family even more fervently than previously. I so hope you will be able to race. I hope Roger will remain a loyal advocate for you and not dismiss you permanently if he needs to hire another driver temporarily. Wonder if he’s looking at Barrichello who might be losing his ride for Honda in F1? I truly feel in my heart, Helio, as I have from first hearing the allegations levied against you, that you are being unjustly scape-goated in some way because of how stricken with grief my spirit churns inside me over it. No matter what, I know you will come out the bigger and better man once you have endured this test of your faith. In the meantime, may our God bless you and your family with an adequate measure of solace and may the light in our Lord Jesus’ words shine for you in this sometimes cold and dark place. I keep remembering your words outside the courthouse on the day of your arraignment. You said you don’t know the U.S. tax laws “but I know right from wrong and I did not do the things those guys in there accused me of.” I could hear your spirit in those words and I continue to believe you even as I did then. There is a verse in the Bible, that may not sound comforting on the surface, but it speaks volumes about a good man. It says, “Because you do not continue with them in their same low sink of debauchery they speak abusively of you.” Although our Lord Jesus said “only God is good,” a man who walks with God’s Spirit can do good things in God’s honor. It was witnessing a measure of God’s Spirit upon you that made me a fan of yours. You always try to do the right things and say the right things about others without judging them. I truly believe you would not have knowingly, with criminal intent, done what they accuse you of having done. I believe this because your spirit would have revolted against you if you had done that and none of your steps from thenceforth could have remained in God’s spirit of goodness because the two opposing spirits would have been in a constant state of battle within your soul. None of us is perfect, so I’m not trying to lift you higher than any one person belongs. But I have been blessed by the spirit you have always reflected, and with a hint of selfishness, I want to continue to see you shine like a beacon of light along these rocky shores. Where the waters meet the earth, and God’s Spirit attaches to our souls, then God is the One lighting up our future. God bless you, Helio, both now and forevermore.

If nothing happened in Vegas…well, shame on you. I’m glad you finally updated your blog. The most exciting thing for Homestead this weekend will be seeing who gets to go to New York. For DWTS…I know it’s about the stars, but it’s Derek’s time and with a partner like Brooke they both deserve the win; but your season was defintely the most exciting one that I’ve watched. It was like who is that guy, Helio who? You definitely wowed me with your enthusiasm and charm and you came through my tv as being so genuine. That quality is something that you don’t find very often with people who have fame. In fact I happened to be at the same place at the same time where you were and I watched at a distance your spiritual side when no one else was around. When I spoke with you, you seemed to be as genuine in person as on tv - I call that “the real deal.” That is such a great testament to your inner person, your strength, and your devotion. Keep up the faith and let’s keep going.

I just read about the denial of the March 2nd court date. I know that you are disappointed - as we all are. We are standing with you and will continue to pray. You WILL race in the Indy 2009 season. I am going to continue to believe THAT! in YOU! and Penske!

I just read you have requested to have the trial moved to November. I really hope they agree, I would hate to see Penske have to give your seat to someone else. I can’t imagine next season without you. It seems to me that it’s a very logical request and there’s not really any reason for them to deny it.
I don’t watch Nascar so I have nothing to say on that…but Dancing with the Stars I’m torn on. I really like Lance and Cody, but athletes have a history of winning and Warren seems to have a way with the audience. Brooke is truly a wonderful dancer, but I tend to root for the underdog.

It was so good to hear from you! As you can see your fans (definitely including myself) have missed you terribly. We all continue to think positive - for sure! and definitely continue to have you, Kati, your family and your legal team in our prayers.

I, too, am going thru Indy-withdrawals!! I have to admit, I haven’t really gotten into NASCAR. They are just a little too slow for me. The cars aren’t as ‘cool’ looking and the drivers - well they are just not as good looking, colorful or exciting. And yes, you are in pole position for that one!!!
I’ve continued to watch DWTS and feel that Brook will win, she and Derek are really doing well - but I, too, have to confess that season 5 was the Best! and Yup - you had something to with it - but all and all the group of people in season 5 was awesome - it really looked like you all had fun and that you did becomes friends - which is the most important thing.
Thanks again for writing to us and as Barb (from Indianapoli) says in her email - WE ARE STILL RIGHT HERE FOR YOU and we will remain as such.

I would like to see Warren win the DWTS mirror ball trophy…I watched Warren play football for several years so I’m biased and want him to win. But I do have to admit that I haven’t been a loyal watcher this season….I miss seeing you dance too much so I can’t make myself watch this season!

Helio, it was good to see you post another blog and let everyone know how you are doing! You have so many fans that are in your corner and standing behind you 100%! I am going through terrible INDY withdrawal, but I’m not sure that it is because the season is over OR that I may not follow it this next year if you are not there to cheer on! Dancing With the Stars will probably be Brooke, Cody and Lance as finalists with Brooke winning. My mom and I were just saying, the season you won was the best. You must bring excitment to everything you do with that wonderful positive attitude.
As far as NASCAR, Jeff Gordon is my driver, so I’m kinda neutral on the championship since Jeff isn’t going to win. Though I should root for a Hendrick driver…
I’m thinking my two drivers will both be champions next year !!!

I never miss DWTS. But nothing will compare to season 5. It was the best ever! Your fans miss you being on the show as much as you miss the show and the friends. Looks like Brooke, but the others are really coming on strong, so will have to see.

You should go back and visit Dancing with the Stars! And dance with Julianne again! You have no idea how many of us would love to see that, and I’m sure she’d love to dance with you again too! I think it’s probably going to be Brooke and Warren in the final two, but I would LOVE to see Cody in that top 3 with them! I bet you would too!

Hola Helio, it is so nice to hear from you. We are still out here praying and lifting you up for special blessings. I am not as terrified that I will not see you race again as I once was. There was so much negative press and gleeful reporting about your troubles. Many people want only the worst for all celbrities and never take into account that you are all people too and deserve the respect we give others.
I like the picture and hope you will keep the chin beard. You look really sexy with that and maybe let your hair grow a little longer. You also look really fit but maybe a little skinny, eat more.
Looking forward to Rolex 24 where we hear you will be running soon. Hope your family is able to join you for Christmas this year. So glad to hear from you!!! I was pretty sure you were under some kind of restrictions about discussing your case. Will you be running in any of the earlier races in the spring that are not Indycar races?
I read that you had received two awards at the banquet…but I don’t know what there were. It’s okay if you brag about them a little.
I’ve been watching Dancing with the Stars every week, and I was worried when Julianne had to have surgery. Have you talked to her since that happened? She danced again on November 11th show, and it sure looked like she had completely recovered. It kind of scared me a little bit, because she doesn’t hold anything back when she dances does she? Cody seems like such a sweet kid, and he seems to really worry about Julianne too. It’s looking pretty good for Derek and Brook, but you never know how the audience will vote, and that has so much to do with the outcome. I think Julianne and Cody still have a chance, but that brother of hers is really talented too!
I’ve been watching NASCAR too and just about any other races that are on (having Indycar withdrawal). I even went out yesterday and bought 2 old racing movies (Grand Prix and Winning).
Once in a while I’ll just drive past the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the fun of it. My parents live on the west side of Indianapolis, so I’m out there a lot anyway. I’ve always loved the speedway!
Stay positive Helio. It sounds like you are. And thanks for the photo too. Hang in there…we are all still right here for you.
