You’ve made open wheel racing that much more fun to watch as I have always been
a fan of open wheel racing and the American Lemans series.
I want to wish you all the best in your future case next year. I know everything

Hope you had a pleasant holiday and are preparing for the next. I too was very surprised by the Penske Team’s possible decision. They must know that their popularity has risen greatly since both you and Ryan joined the team. This would cost them both in fans (who they will lose forever) and monetarily. I hope the good P.R. people you have and the fans will press them to a good decision. If they break up your team we won’t watch these events any more. It’s more than just “image” it’s faith in your decisions and Roger Penske made a good choice before and we hope he will again.

Dear Helio, Although I’m saddened by the news someone posted earlier, you have truly turned me on to the sport of open-wheel racing. I love it. And I will keep watching it because you worked so hard to increase the number of viewers for the IRL. I don’t want to see your hard work be reduced to sheer vanity. Admittedly, though, I will find it very difficult to be a Penske Racing fan if you are not a part of their team. Some sayings from God’s Word: “God is love.” “Only God is good.” “God is Spirit.” I am praying that our God, as the greatest Inspiration (Spirit) for Love and Goodness, will prevail in your favor. And when this ordeal has ended, like Job, may our God bless you ten times over for all of your losses. The joy you have spread in the world, Helio, gives evidence of your faith. I think I told you this some time ago but I will say it again, “When one body member suffers all the other members suffer with it; and when one body member is glorified, all the other members rejoice with it.” Many of us have rejoiced with you in the same Spirit you have elevated before us. Now, many of us feel your suffering as well in the absence of that Spirit. It appears that so many are praying for your release, and some -if not all- of us are hoping that the gift God gave to you may continue to lift up all our spirits to the praise of God and His Christ. (First Corinthians 12:25-26) I too am continuing to pray daily for you and your family’s continued strength and endurance as you await your vindication. May God’s peace be with you all.

I just read that Penske wll be naming a driver for you next year. If that is the case I won’t be watching IRL racing. You are the one that got me watching IRL racing again. That is so sad for all your fans. But I will continue to support you and your family. I’m going to keep in touch with you on your Blog. I hope you have a happy holiday season. Hope you and your family enjoyed a nice holiday.I know you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in Brazil.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving (I did all the cooking). We sat around the table and talked about things that we remembered from our years of growing up.My dad was able to be here so that made things even nicer.Our son turned 28 on the 21st and after we gave him his gifts, he gave us one.He gave ultrasound pictures of our 2nd grandchild.I cried many happy tears.Our granddaughter will be almost 7 when this baby is born. She was born with some health problems that this baby has a 50% chance of facing also.We are doing alot of praying for a healthy baby.

We started decorating our house for Christmas. I fixed one of your little race cars as a christmas ornament, it hangs front and center. I read that Penske may make a decision on replacing you before Christmas. I hope they will give this more time to get straightened out. We are praying everyday that something will happen to make them change your trial date. We love you very much.I know that the only thing we can do to help you through all of this,is to let you know that we are behind you 100% and that our prayers are with you and your family.Please keep us as informed as you can and let us see more pictures.We miss seeing that smiling face as often as we can.

Hope you and your family had a Happy Thanksgiving. I went to Indycar schedule for next year racing and found that I get Versus Network. I can’t wait till you start racing again. I am staying positive you will be racing. You and your family are still in our prayers. Give your nephew a hug and kiss from your fans. He is so adorable. It is really great that you keep in touch with all your fans because we do miss seeing you.

Hi Helio –
I’m sure you heard about Brooke and Derek winning the mirrorball trophy. Their freestyle
was reminiscent of you and Julianne’s freestyle in reference to the level of difficulty,
and creativity. There was even a report that season 5 finale had more audience than any
of the other seasons. We sure miss your presence at the finale.
How was your thanksgiving gathering? Please continue to keep us updated. We always want
to hear from you. You are still our Mr. Positive. It is our turn now to keep you positive
and continue to keep your faith in God. He will never fail you nor your family. You are
