Hi Helio. I am sending you this message because as a Canadian racing Fan, I am embarrassed by the way those “pit area” Toronto spectators reacted toward you after the incident with Paul. (It was difficult for me to watch the subsequent ESPN interview that took place at your pit stall) Clearly this behavior was completely inappropriate toward you and the team. I am certain that the vast majority of fans, including us Canucks, all share this view.
Anyway, I hope your team will nail the car set up in Edmonton and You have a great race. I will watch You there. (I live in Alberta) GOOD LUCK!!!!

Hi Helio - I hope you are getting a much needed R & R after the last hectic month and the last Texas race. Read somewhere you are one of the race car drivers testing at Richmond, supposedly today. Guess we won’t read anything about that. What’s next on your schedule prior to Iowa race? As usual, looking forward to your Iowa race, and hope and pray for another winning safe race. BTW, read that TK and Dario bought your speciallly designed Helio watch. Wish I can afford it and I bet the price will go up as you keep on winning!!!

Helio! I was only 8 rows away and got to see you climb the fence at TMS up close! It was my first ever IndyCar race (boy, did I pick a great race as my first!) and am now a lifetime Helio fan! Great job Helio. The race was great We were pulling for you. When you came out of the Pit stop we knew you could do it. We love to see you climb that fence and that big old smile. So glad you are back. Keep getting those points. We are counting down until Watkins Glen. We want to see you climb that fence when we are there. Hope all is well. See you racing in a few weeks.
Helio, it was great to see Adriana there with you to celebrate in Texas last night. She just stands and smiles while you are climbing fences, talking to reporters, waving to fans, etc. She looks so proud of you. You are very lucky to have her!!!
My husband isn’t a race car driver, but he is very popular here in Indianapolis, he knows EVERYBODY, so I do a lot of smiling and waiting too, so I know Adriana is always waiting on you just like I’m always waiting on my husband…but it’s worth it. We’ve been together for 39 years this month. I wish you both the same happiness!!

I’ve been busy because of my mother’s visit the last couple weeks but I have not missed your races. All things considered, you ended well enough the week before, but I was ecstatic for you yesterday. That track in Texas had me on the edge of my seat last year and again this year. Your crew did a fantastic job on your last pit stop. Your smile is always effervescent and your graciousness towards the great work by other drivers in yesterday’s race is indicative of your good spirit. That big hug you and Adriana had was beautiful to see as well. It tickles me to see you having a happy life. May God continue to bless you with His love and goodness.

GREAT JOB HELIO !!! It was great to see you win and climb the fence at TMS again. I was at the race last night and it seemed as though everybody in the stands was cheering you on to win. We celebrated the win until the early morning hours and had a great time with other Helio fans. I just wish that the IRL and TMS would take note of the fan turnout and give us back our second race in October, but for now I will be watching you on TV and waiting for next years race here in Texas.

Seeing you in the cowboy hat is worth all the trials and tribulation of the last few months. I read recently that Roger is buying the Saturn division of GM. WoHooooo..Way to go Team Penske. P1 and P2. Congratulations Helio on the 3rd win in Texas…i tell you,you had me nervous at the beginning of the race.I didn’t think the car had the speed but your team never gives up and Tim kept tweaking til it was right.
