The pictures on Twitter are so adorable. What a head of hair! Tom would have been so happy if our girls had a head full of hair like that. He would spend forever just trying to get what little hair they did have in a hair band with a bow. Now they’re all grown-up. Enjoy these special moments, the days seem to slip by so fast. Love to the family, you have been truly blessed.

I was so happy to open your website to see that Mikaella was born and that everything went well. The pictures are adorable. In the one on the Penske Site you look like you had just won the Indy 500 again. Wow, Ryan gets married and Mikaella is born. What a month for the Penske Team. What a way to bring in 2010 a new family. Tom and I are so happy for you. I actually woke him up with the news and had him look at the pictures. He loves babies and was so happy to see that beautiful little girl and he’s always happy to see that look on a daddy’s face. Your life has now changed forever. Merry Christmas to you and your family Helio. If there was anybody who likely willing to get up with the little guy to open his gifts from Santa at, say, before five in the morning, it was probably you because you’re his cool uncle.
Next year will be even more fun for you with Mikaella. She’ll be a little less than a year old next Christmas and will probably have a smile just as bright her daddy’s on Christmas morning. Not to mention your and Adriana’s bright smiles when you watch your daughter get excited about Christmas.
Wishing you a happy day and am hoping to hear to some baby news within the next week or so. I like the fact that the sooner she gets here, the more time you get to spend with her before you have to start testing a lot in preparation for the coming season, which I think will be one of your best yet starting with a win in your home country, your fourth Indy 500 (where Mikaella will be present with her happy happy daddy), and ending with a win at Homestead AND your first championship (finally) with several wins sprinkled in between, like possibly Texas.
You and Scott Dixon are going to be out there proving that fatherhood does not slow a racer down; it just makes him more determined to win (I think one day that your little Mikaella and Scott’s little Poppy will be best friends like you and TK are).

Well the presents are wrapped and under the tree and the stockigs are hung by the chimney with care.
It is really late but I wanted to stop bye to wish you, Adrianna, Kati, Eduardo, and little Eduardo a very Merry Christmas. As my Christmas present to Tom (and me of course) are tickets to the INDY 500. I can’t wait to see his face since we didn’t think we would be able to go. I’m sure little Eduardo will have lots of presents to open. Just think Mikaella will be opening up her presents next year. Don’t be surprised when she would rather play with the boxes than the toys. It’s a normal thing. Well I’m going to get to bed so I can cook Christmas dinner. I will be making a pie I’m sure you would love. It’s a Chocolate Hershy Pie with a graham cracker crust. I agree about the article on the Penske site too. So you’re living in Georgia now. Not as great sun and surf as in Florida, but not a bad area of the country (though I’ll admit that I prefer Texas). And when Mikaella’s old enough, you’re not that far away from the Happiest Place on Earth (you’ll have to take her at some point; you take her at the right age and she’ll have a blast).
Really can’t wait for the big day. And just a little warning to you now: when she gets into any mischief as she grows up, she’s only your daughter. Not that she would even think of getting into mischief. No. She does not have a father who will teach her mischief.

I’ve decided that, while I love all three of the pics, the second and fourth ones are my favorites. In the second, you have that cute smile on your face that’s saying, “I did this. Inside this beautiful woman is my precious princess.” And in the fourth, the look on your face is priceless.
Can’t wait for next year when you get to bring Mikaella to the races. Then it will be just a matter of time before I’m torn between who looks cuter with their daughters in victory lane - you or Jeff Gordon.
