Team Penske anounced on Tuesday, 23 at Barber Motorsports Park, the new look that will be used throughout the 2010 season. After several seasons, the change comes with a predominant color black.
See firsthand the new firesuit of Helio Castroneves.
The Brazilian driver will be part of Izod’s Indycar Series open test, on February 24th and 25th, at the track located in the state of Alabama.

O piloto brasileiro fará parte do Open Test da Fórmula Indy, de 24 a 25 de fevereiro, nesta pista norte-americana localizada no estado do Alabama.

Vc não tem idéia da emoção q senti ao escutar e ver os carros em SP.. chorei.. não tem explicaçao..
eu tremia, e o coração estava acelerado.. não importava nada, se vc esta bem ou mal.. mas eu vi vc pilotando o carro em SP.. foi o mais importante..

Hola Helio, been away from the computer for a while and just catching up with the new look. Wonderful color combo; sharp and menacing. Can hardly wait to see new look on the track. Got to train my eye for the black instead of the red and white, which I loved. Saw the new DWTS lineup and longed for season 5. Hope you were able to contact Marie and comfort her in her tragic loss. You now know what being a parent is and how we cherish those who are born to us. Go get ‘em champ in the new season. @Helio: Hi Helio, glad you like the new colors, was it your choice to keep more of the Red or did it just work out that way? I work for Phillip Morris and have meet you several times in the Hospitality suites at Indy and Chicagoland. So it saddens me that the team no longer caries the red and white colors. But hope to see you in Victory lane!

The black looks great!!! Plus it hides that 3 time Indy champ 20 lbs. that EVERYONE puts on. Very slimming. Seriously, car and suit looks great. Hoping you get that championship this year. If not, not worries. Ten IndyCar championships don’t equal a single 500, so I guess you have 30 championships….wow, well done Helio.

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter and your engagement. I agree with everyone else that the car looks great. It’s a change from what colors Team Penske used to have but it is a great look. I want to wish you and your teammates good luck this season. I plan to be in Indianapolis to watch you win the 500 for the 4th time and to watch you lay the groundwork for an Indycar championship!

I read the article about you wanting to become a US Citizen. I am so happy that you love this country so much, even after the government treated you and Kati so unfairly. It also hurts me to know that going back to the home you loved, hurts so badly that you are selling it. But I do know that it will be a good fresh start to a new life with Adriana and Mikaella. We are very happy for you. This year is going to be filled with many good things for the 3 of you, I just know it.

Great Look, Great car, Great Team!! I like the subtle differences between the cars – I’ll be able to tell the difference when I see Penske driving to the finish line in 1-2-3 order. (Of course the car with the red highlights will be in first!!!). I can’t wait for the season to begin!!
