Pistop practice went on this morning for the #3 Team Penske carof Helio Castroneves, to ensure accuracy and speedy pitstops during the race.
It was also a practice for the pitstop competition, which will occur tomorrow(Friday) at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Treinos de Pistop continuaram nesta manhã para o carro número 3 de Helio Castroneves da Equipe Penske. Treinos para garantir pitstops rápidos e precisos durante a corrida.
Foi também um treino para a competição de pitstop, que ocorrerá amanhã (sexta-feira) no Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ! I just found out that Indy car racing will be coming to Loudon, NH next summer (2011) – I live in Boston, MA and the closest race venue is Watkins Glen, NY – which is great, but it’s a street course and i’ve been really, really interested in seeing an Oval! Now i’ll get my chance – I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited.
By the way – happy, happy belated Father’s day – your very first! Thanks so much for sharing the pictures of your wonderful family – I love watching how little Mikaella grow – WOW.
I received your new book – and read it twice all ready – GREAT JOB. I’ve always had a great deal of respect and admiration for you and your family, ever since I saw you the very first time on DWTS, your racing, the trial, your comeback and now fatherhood and racing! You have brought Indy car racing in my life – THANKS – I love it. When I hear the roar of the engine – I truly do get goosebumps! I am your biggest fan I think I have watched you on dancing with the stars and I watched the Indy 500 Ian disappointed that your team pitted you early if they wouldn’t have ithink you would have won for the 4th time.

Well, not a great day for Team Penske but take comfort in how close you and Tim came to pulling it off after that stall. You’re still champions and always will be in my book. And you did get a top ten finish, which is better than a dnf. Man oh man! When they showed Conway’s accident from your car camera I was so grateful you didn’t get hurt from the debris. My prayers go out for Conway. They said he has an orthopedic injury to his leg. I will pray his complete recovery.

Well. It didn’t the way I was hoping it would, but you did all you could. There’s always next year. Guess Memorial Day weekend 2011 will have to be your year.
Still wonderful month Helio. You still continue to show what a champion you are and your fans are so proud of you. Plus, next year will be more fun if you get #4. Mikaella will be more interested in cheering her daddy on.

Congratulations on winning the pit stop competition. It’s all shaping up to be a repeat of last year! Winning the pole, pit stop competition…next comes the race! I wish I could be there to watch you win your 4th, but I will be cheering you on from home! Thank you also for the hug today! I am so glad both you and Adriana liked the cross-stitch I made for baby Mikaella. It was my pleasure making it for you. You are amazing and an excellent role model. Thank you again for being so wonderful with your fans. You are so good for this sport. Good luck and most importantly be safe on Sunday! Everything has fallen into place again for you this year!! If you focus like last year and your pit crew is as good as last year, it’s yours to win!! I hope I get to see you hold up four fingers (if I get to watch the race). And think about it, no lawyers to pay this year so you can enjoy the rewards (at least partially).

Fingers crossed for y’all in the pit crew challenge tomorrow. I think the one your guys need to watch out for if you face them is the de Ferran Dragon crew. They’re pretty darn fast in pit crew comps.
