While attending the celebrations of the end of the year, Helio Castroneves made a positive assessment of the 2011 season. For him, despite everything that happened, hope and faith will always lead you to look toward the future with optimism. “We all had difficulties and sorrows over the year, especially with the loss of Dan Wheldon. All this was very sad, but there is always something to be celebrated, even when things do not go as we want or plan. God always has a plan for us,” said the driver.
Castroneves pointed the strong partnerships acquired by Roger Penske’s team, the quality improvement of the Brazilian race in IndyCar, the ongoing of the same trio of drivers in the team for 2012, the launch of his book in Brazil, and his long career in the category all as good positive events. “I’m going into my 15th season in Indy and have been for 13 years with Team Penske; It isn’t a small thing and is a reason to celebrate. I wish you all HAPPY NEW YEAR and that the main reason to celebrate the holidays is love and family.”
