Helio Castroneves participated in the Rally of São Paulo, event promoted by Rubens Barrichello from the 17th to the 18th of December in São Paulo. Sixteen drivers were invited by the Formula One driver, who raced in a dirt track at the São Jorge Stadium, home of the Brazilian soccer team Sport Club Coritnhians Paulista. The storm on Sunday afternoon made the challenge even bigger; the winner has the Brazilian driver based in Japan, João Paulo de Oliveira.

“I loved the experience. It was my first competition in a dirt circuit and now I admire rally drivers so much more. I hope to comeback next year”, said Castroneves, who traveled to United States on Monday, 19.
