In preparation for the final race of the 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series, which will be on June 15 in Fontana, CA, Helio Castroneves was on Thursday(Sept/6) conducting tests in the two mile oval.

The goal was to simulate various situations that may be used during the race.

“We tested a lot today here in Fontana and liked the behavior of the Dalara AAA No. 3 Chevrolet. I Believe the information gathered will be very useful for next week. We still have much to do, but the first positive step, certainly , was given on Thursday, ” said Castroneves.
